VK WRLD is the registered entity operating the vkwrld.co.za online store in South Africa. This notice explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you browse the store, contact us or place an order. Shopify hosts the store and provides checkout and commerce tools.

Information we handle

  • Contact and delivery details, such as your name, email address, phone number and billing or delivery address.
  • Order and customer-service information, including products viewed or purchased, payment status, delivery and return details, and messages you send us.
  • Device and browsing information, such as browser, device, approximate location, IP address, cookie identifiers and activity on the store.
  • Payment information is handled by Shopify and the payment provider. We receive order and payment status and transaction details needed to manage your purchase; we do not ask you to send full card details by email or social media.

Why we use it

We use information to process and deliver orders, provide support, prevent fraud and protect the store, meet legal and accounting obligations, understand store performance, and—where permitted or where you have chosen to receive it—send marketing and measure advertising.

Who may receive it

We share only what is needed with Shopify, payment providers, delivery and fulfilment providers, store apps and service providers, and analytics or advertising partners where those tools are enabled. These providers use information under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell customer lists.

Shopify and enabled analytics or advertising tools may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the store, understand visits and measure or personalise advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser and any privacy or cookie controls made available on the store. Blocking essential cookies may affect checkout or other store functions. You can also manage marketing preferences using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us.

Storage and international processing

We and our providers retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including order support, legal, tax and accounting requirements, security and dispute resolution. Shopify and other providers may process information outside South Africa. Where POPIA applies, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for such processing.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may ask to access or correct personal information, request deletion or restriction where applicable, object to or withdraw consent for processing where consent is the basis, and opt out of direct marketing. Children

This store is intended for adult purchasers. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the store. A parent or guardian may contact us if they believe a child has provided information.
